By virtually adopting an orphaned chimpanzee, you help provide nutritious and delicious food, skilled veterinary care, medications and supplements, daily care from our dedicated caregivers, and enrichment activities – all in a natural forest habitat where our beloved residents can thrive with their adoptive chimpanzee communities! Your compassion, dedication, and donations make their rescue and lifelong care possible.
For a minimum adoption of six months and the selection of a mailed package, you will receive:
- Photo collage featuring your adopted chimp
- Full biography
- Certificate of Adoption
- Chimpanzee Fun Facts card
- Personalized letter
- Periodic photo updates sent via email
Or if you select the option for a digital package, you will be emailed:
- PowerPoint presentation including your adopted chimp’s photos and bio
- Certificate of Adoption (pdf and jpg versions for printing or saving)

Adoption levels include:
Recurring monthly donation = $25
Six-month adoption = $150
One-year adoption = $300
Two-year adoption = $600
Chimpanzee Champion = $5,000
As a “Chimpanzee Champion,” your $5,000 donation provides everything your adopted chimp needs for an entire year! At this level, you will receive all of the above-mentioned perks PLUS a signed copy of Dr. Speede’s book “Kindred Beings” or our hardbound photo book, “WITHIN: Walking with the Chimpanzees of Sanaga-Yong Rescue,” a personal thank you call from Sheri, quarterly updates on your adopted chimp, 8” x 10” frame-worthy photo of your chimp, and an invitation for you and a friend to be special guests at our annual soirée in Portland, Oregon!
