Since the first three chimpanzees, Jacky, Becky, and Pepe, found safe haven at Sanaga-Yong, we have had the privilege to rescue and care for over hundred beloved residents. It is with heavy heart; we honor those who have passed away while living at our sanctuary. They all brought joy, love and laughter to their chimpanzee families and played a vital role in their communities. And they deeply touched the hearts of their human caregivers. We will forever love and miss them.
